Manchester Book Fest

It’s been a couple weeks since my last blog post. Sorry, I was up in Canada on vacation with family. Less than forty-eight hours after returning home, I was a vendor at the Manchester Book Fest. No rest for the weary, am I right? Thankfully, it was a gorgeous day on Saturday and there was heavy foot traffic through the event’s duration. Thank you to Nutmeg Lit Fest and Downtown Manchester for allowing me to participate inĀ  the Manchester Book Fest. Admittedly, it was busy, but it wasn’t my luck day. What do I mean by that? Well, I only sold one book the entire day.

Thank You Downtown Manchester!

It's a Beautiful Day to Buy Books!

That’s not me saying the Manchester Book Fest was a bust. Whether I sell zero books or hundred, there’s always a takeaway for these events. Sometimes, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles, lucky for me I still sold ten pens and three of my girlfriend’s bookmarks. Also, I talked to several people who took my card so maybe they’ll look for my books on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Overall, I had fun at the Manchester Book Fest, I didn’t get to attend last year as I was on vacation. I’m happy that this year, I was able to get back home in time. Next weekend, I have a spot at the Guilford Fair, the work doesn’t stop!
