Car Show

Yesterday, I spent my morning at the 10th annual Puzzled Kustoms Car Show in Southington, CT. Unfortunately, there were many other events going on that sunny day, so there weren’t as many people there as expected. That’s life sometimes, on the bright side the weather was beautiful and the people that did show up were awesome. While I only sold one book to the friend who helped me secure this event, it was a successful day. Let’s go over why i have this positive attitude from the car show event. For anyone wondering, yes there were some hot rods there.

Show Off Your Talents Like A Hot Rod!

First off, all the proceeds from the car show went to Bristol Special Olympics. That is near and dear to my heart as I have been an athlete for team Bristol for fiften years. I am also a Special Olympics Global Messenger, which is how I was able to set up a booth. My friend, Jill who purchased the only book I sold, knows the family who organized the car show and put gave me their contact. It goes to show knowing the right people can go a long way. Also, I sold some pens and a couple of my girlfriend’s bookmarks so all in all not a bad event. Especially since the car show only lasted 9am-1pm so I had the whole afternoon to relax.
