Award-Winning Author

Almost three years have passed since publishing my first book, and I can finally call myself an award-winning author! I was over the moon when I received the email from Literary Titan the other day. My debut novel, Looked Down Upon: The Exiled Kin, won the Literary Titan gold award in the fiction category. Earning the title of award-winning author doesn’t come easy; it can take years of marketing, submitting for awards, and patience. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if this day would ever come; there were times when I doubted my abilities.

The Day Has Finally Arrived!

I am so grateful for this achievement

I realize this award isn’t the most respected or well-known in the literary community, but it’s a start. Thank you again to Literary Titan for this distinction; an award-winning author should never forget their first one. Again, I’m glad I never gave up on this journey; there were many hiccups and obstacles, but I kept moving forward. Now that I have this title, I can’t get complacent in my writing or marketing. The question you should be asking this award-winning author is “What’s next for you?” To answer that, I say, publishing book three.
