I submitted my debut novel to the Literacy Global Awards for a review. Today I awoke to the news that I received their five-star Gold Award. It’s an honor to receive recognition within the indie author community after years of hard work. While it’s not the same feeling as winning an award, it’s another step in the right direction. There’s a lot I can do with this seal, whether it’s converting it to a sticker or putting it on a sign to market my book. Getting a five-star review is something to be proud of.
Good Things Come To Those Who Don't Give Up
In their five-star review, Literacy Global Awards goes into depth about what captivated them while reading my book. “Looked Down Upon: The Exiled Kin succeeds because of its people”. Mentioning that my characters are relatable and well-fleshed out touched my heart. As someone on the spectrum, I struggled to read and understand people, and these comments in my five-star review demonstrate how far I’ve come as a writer. Thank you again, Literacy Global Awards, for their constructive review on my novel and I look forward to my next projects.
