Podcast Appearance

I have major news! At the end of September, I had the significant opportunity of being a guest on a podcast. It’s called the Connecticut Book Festivals Podcast, hosted by Jed Doherty. Listen, it wasn’t done live, we recorded it, and the episode should be dropping tomorrow on Monday. It’s crazy the places that life can take you. I mean just a few years ago the idea of a podcast appearance would’ve been daunting.I used to have major stage fright as a kid and my stutter was a big source of insecurity. What changed and led to this podcast appearance you might ask? Well, let’s talk more more about it.

Thank You Jed For the Opportunity!

Give It A Listen!

I won’t spoil the podcast’s topics here. Since you’ll be able to listen very soon for yourself. Now, I’ve been a co-host for the Social Squad podcast for a long time, but this was different. I wasn’t steering the ship, so I had to prepare for questions and answer them on the fly. I found what has helped me overcome this public speaking fear is being apart of the Favarrh Players, networking with people at book events, and just being more confident. Jed was very kind and engaging, which made me feel comfortable talking with him. That was the key to making this podcast appearance a success. Hopefully, you all enjoy it. We don’t just talk about my journey as an author, but you get a deeper dive into my personal life too. Have a great day and a special thank you to Jed Doherty!
