My favorite movie or movie series is Star Wars. Yes, I’m a nerd but that’s not the point of this blog today. I just wanted you to learn a little more about the writer behind the quill. I was peculiar as a kid in that I was very selective with what movies I’d watch. If it wasn’t Star Wars or Indiana Jones, I wasn’t that interested. Funny enough, Harrison Ford plays a main character in both cinema franchises. Anyway, I was born 1999, so I grew up as the Prequel Trilogy released. My mom gifted me a portable DVD player and I’d watch my favorite on repeat for most of the day. I’d even replay my favorite scene dozens of times. I think seeing the underdog overcome adversity really resonated with me, which is why I grew attached to these movies. I’ll tell a bit more about some of films that I enjoyed.
Star Wars Will Always Be My First Love In Media
The Original, Prequel, and Sequel all have their critics since they came out in different time periods. The special affects of the originals hasn’t aged well and the lightsaber duels weren’t great. The prequels had bad dialogue and too much politics. The sequels had bad writing and committed character assassinations several times. My favorite movie of the nine films is The Empire Strikes Back. I’m a man who likes good storytelling more than CGI and the originals were masterful for the most part. You have to remember this was the 70s too and the affects were great for then. I also I adored Revenge of The Sith, I think it has the best lightsaber in all of Star Wars between Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar. I must admit, I’m not a big fan of the sequels because of what Disney did to the original trilogy’s characters, but I’m sure some enjoyed it.
