Making A Name

Making a name for yourself is the name of the game. Lately, my book has been building steam, Better late then never right? After months I reaching out, my local library and I agreed on a date to do an author talk and book signing. This coming April, I will have the biggest event of my young author career. If you visit bristollib.com, you’ll see the event scheduled. To say I’m ecstatic would be a huge understatement. Starting local is a smart way to make a name for yourself, but that’s not all I’ve done as of late.

Rome Wasn't Built In A Day

With some encouragement, I reached out to a local radio station called 96.5 and they requested a brief phone interview. Of course, I graciously accepted this opportunity. Also, they published a article on their website audacy.com. The more I put myself out there, the more likely I’ll make a name for myself. I’m not delusional, I won’t become Stephen King overnight, but if I can make of name for myself in my city, news of my book will continue to spread. I’m working on my networking skills within organizations, events, and families in the autism community since that’s my targeted audience. Whether I sell a hundred copies or a million, my message will never change. I will continue to make a name for myself and grow my legacy as a writer.
