I’m back everyone! I took a brief hiatus from the blog posts, as I was on vacation.Even humble writers need a break every now and then from the onslaught that is life. Anyway to be serious I went to the wild west for the first time ever. This uptight and self-righteous New Englander went to Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon, The Hoover Dam, San Diego, and many more sights. I literally got back home this morning and I’m exhausted, but can’t force myself to sleep unfortunately. So, I may as well be productive.
A Vacation Is A Reason To Explore
Now, my autistic self enjoys safety and familiarity. At least I used to, especially with foods. However, I did a lot of exploration and took risks with food. I tried gelato, country-fried steak, german pancakes, and carne with side of fries for the first time. I figured if I’m someplace new, I might as well try something I can’t get back home. When in Rome, am I right? The highlight of my vacation was easily the twelve hour bus ride across the desert, where I saw the Grand Canyon. Words don’t do it’s beauty justice, but it reminds you how small us humans are. I hope everyone can see it one day. I’m happy to be back home though!
