Hello my friends. It’s been a busy couple weeks and I have some sad news. Someone who I considered a friend and mentor passed away a couple weeks back. This is the second person that I’ve lost in the month of August in the past two years. So, even though August is supposed to be the warm tail end of Summer. It’s a mixed bag as I’ve lost two people and published a book during this month. I do try to block out the sadness in my heart with fond memories of those no longer with us. It’s not easy, but as time goes the pain is replaced with fond memories and nostalgia.
There's Always Tomorrow...Or so We 're Told
Fond memories can consist of dinners, activities, or even silly conversations and jokes. I was lucky to have not experience much lost of close relatives or friends when I was growing up. Sadly, you can only avoid death for so long, but I choose to focus on the fond memories we made along the way. Make sure to never take the time you’re spending with someone for granted because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Which is the primary reason why I try accomplish as much as possible and explore because I want to leave a positive mark on this world. As well as be fondly remembered by the people I care about.
