Happy Father’s Day! I hope everyone is enjoying time with their families. Even if your dad is longer with us or you have a strained relationship, that’s valid, too. Anyway, I got to see my father yesterday, and it was a pleasure catching up. Father’s day always reminds me to keep trying to build a relationship and bonding with my dad. Today’s blog won’t delve deep into a writing lesson. I just wanted to chat and share a poem I wrote to honor the fathers today. Please keep scrolling to read the poem below.
It's Father's Day! Hooray!

Here’s the poem, titled Father’s day.
A day for the honorable men
raising the next generation
What would sons be without them?
Today I am grateful for my dad
For teaching me to be a gentleman
I wish I saw more than I had
You were never such a bother
Through good times and rough
I shall always honor thy father
