An action-packed story told from a unique perspective
Looked Down Upon: The Exiled Kin is to put it simply an amazing book. Jordan Lopez’s first foray into book writing has all the elements to make a unique story that will appeal to many audiences of all ages. He does an excellent job crafting a setting in which you can truly immerse yourself and he is also able to create a vivid picture of each one of the characters and give them their own unique personality, thus making you feel invested in their adventures and motivations. The main character Luke, an autistic teenager, and his best friends Drew and Bonnie particularly share an incredible dynamic and seeing their relationships evolve and them making discoveries about themselves and their own goals is quite fulfilling. Luke’s perspective provides a breath of fresh air for the main character and insights into the struggles he and people with autism encounter internally as well as externally and how I these struggles can impact their life. The book has several elements including drama, romance, action, adventure, fantasy, and tons of powerful life lessons, reflections, insight and a shocking final act that will leave you wanting more. I’d highly recommend checking this one out!

A review of Jordan Lopez’s view of the world
“Looked Down Upon: The Exiled Kin” by Mr. Jordan Lopez is a wonderfully crafted book. Mr. Lopez spending years perfecting it and then perfecting it again. The main character Luke having autism fitting in and understanding the world around him dealing with the same nightmares just different days and overcoming them with help of a wonderful support system. The plot is action packed, romantic, intense and will leave you wanting to read more. Luke’s best friends Bonnie and Drew have great chemistry being Real. with each other while also being playful at times mirroring a typical high school friend group. The book is very well written making you feel like you are apart of this journey. Overall it has the trifecta of a respectable book great plot, great characters, and is well written! I would highly recommend!!!

Great book!
Jordan did such a good job being descriptive of all the characters and provided readers with a glimpse into the POV of someone with autism. The epilogue was a good cliff hanger and I look forward to the sequel. I suspect this author’s work will only get better.
