For the second year in a row I have been afforded the amazing opportunity of having an author talk at my hometown’s public library. In appreciation of publishing I my second novel, The Bristol Public Library has allowed me to speak about my journey as a local author. Author Talks are a little nerve racking as I’m more fluid with my words when written on a paper than coming out my mouth. However, family, friends, and strangers are utilizing their time for an author talk so that’s just what they’ll get. I’ve learned so much in the past two years since becoming a self-published author.
I've come a long Way Since Publishing

I never thought in a million years I’d be the author of two books. This author talk is a good chance to improve my public speaking skills. Also, I have noticed I’m much more comfortable networking and building connections. Learning to ask to hang flyers or speak about your book pays dividends, the worse they could do is say no. You never know unless you ask and asking got me an author talk, so the evidence speaks for itself. At the end of this author talk I will be selling copies of both looked Down Upon: The Exiled Kin and Looked Down Upon: A Masked Wickedness. If you’re interested in coming down on Tuesday, RSVP at the library, on bristollib.com, or call 960-584-7787 x 3. Thank you!
